Kystar KBS1000 LED Display Sending Box Description
The Kystar KBS1000 is a high-performance LED display sending box designed for rental and fixed-installation video walls in concerts, stadiums, exhibitions, and conference rooms. It accepts 1× HDMI 2.0 and 2× DVI inputs (up to 4096×2160@60Hz for HDMI), provides 10× Gigabit Ethernet outputs, and supports up to 6.5 million pixels load for large-scale, high-resolution LED screens. The unit offers EDID management, passive brightness & color calibration, fast calibration data distribution, spherical warping, 3D display support, HDMI loop output, network redundancy, and cascade control for flexible multi-unit deployments.
Product Features:
• Inputs: 1× HDMI 2.0 (up to 4096×2160@60Hz), 2× DVI (up to 2048×1152@60Hz); arbitrary custom resolutions within supported pixel area.
• HDMI loop output: supports HDMI loop chaining (HDMI loop only), up to 8 units chained.
• Network outputs: 10× Gigabit Ethernet ports; per-port load 65W pixels; full-unit load up to 650W pixels; single unit max width 8000, max height 8000.
• EDID management for robust input compatibility and format negotiation.
• Passive brightness & color calibration compatible with Kystar calibration system to correct per-pixel luminance and chromaticity without a video source.
• Fast calibration data distribution technology — approximately twice the speed of traditional methods.
• Spherical warping (note: spherical warping supported under 8-port load mode) for curved and sphere-like displays when used with KR/Hxs/Mx series receiving cards.
• Arbitrary wiring support — non-rectangular layouts allowed; empty areas do not consume pixel load resources.
• 3D display support (load halved) when used with 3D transmitter and 3D glasses.
• Control & communication: USB and Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) for configuration and debugging.
• Cascade control: Gigabit cascade supports centralized control of up to 8 units.
• Brightness and color temperature adjustment; network redundancy backup support.
• Typical applications: rental LED walls, fixed-installation video walls, concerts, sports events, exhibitions, and conference centers.
