Kystar KBS600 LED Display Sending Box Description
The Kystar KBS600 is a high-performance LED display sending box designed for rental and fixed-installation applications such as concerts, stadium events, conference rooms, and exhibitions. It supports one HDMI 1.3 and one DVI input with up to 2048×1152@60Hz input resolution, six Gigabit Ethernet outputs, and a maximum pixel load capability listed in product specs. The unit offers advanced features including passive brightness & color calibration, EDID management, spherical warping, arbitrary wiring (non-rectangular loading), network redundancy, fast calibration data distribution, and chained control via Gigabit ports for flexible large-screen deployments.
Product Features:
• Inputs: 1× HDMI 1.3 and 1× DVI, supports up to 2048×1152@60Hz input and arbitrary custom resolutions within that pixel area.
• Network outputs: 6× Gigabit Ethernet ports; per-port and total pixel load as specified by the manufacturer.
• Pixel load: single port load 65W pixels; full machine load up to 235W pixels; single unit max width 4000, max height 4000.
• EDID management for input compatibility.
• Passive brightness and color calibration: works with the Kystar calibration system to calibrate each pixel’s brightness and chromaticity without a video source, ensuring uniform display.
• Fast calibration data distribution: proprietary quick-downloading method to speed calibration distribution (approximately twice as fast as traditional methods).
• Spherical warping and shaped-screen support via built-in algorithms (for use with KR/Hxs/Mx series receiving cards).
• Arbitrary wiring support: non-rectangular layouts allowed; unused areas do not consume pixel load resources.
• Control interfaces: USB and Gigabit Ethernet for PC communication and debugging.
• Cascade control: supports Gigabit cascade to control up to 8 units centrally.
• Brightness and color temperature adjustment.
• Network redundancy backup support.
