Kystar LS16 2-in-1 LED Video Controller Description
Kystar LS16 is a 2U “2-in-1” LED video controller that combines multi-window splicing and sending in one unit. It provides 16 Gigabit Ethernet outputs with up to 9.6-million-pixel loading, accepts true 4K@60 Hz inputs via DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0, and includes DVI, HDMI, and SDI (with loop). The pure-hardware FPGA architecture delivers high reliability for 24/7 operation, while K-HDR enhances SDR sources for better on-screen contrast and detail. A front color LCD, direct-access keys, and rotary knob make on-site setup fast for touring and fixed installs.
Product Features:
• 16× Ethernet outputs; up to 650,000 px per port; total loading up to 9,600,000 px; max width 16,000; max height 8,000.
• Inputs (8 total): DVI ×2 (up to 1920×1080@60), HDMI ×2 (1.3a, up to 1920×1080@60), HDMI 2.0 ×1 (up to 3840×2160@60 or 7680×1080@60), DP 1.2 ×2 (up to 3840×2160@60 or 7680×1080@60), SDI ×1 with loop (SD/HD/3G-SDI).
• Multi-window processing: up to 8 windows; arbitrary window layout and cropping; black-edge removal.
• Eight fixed screen layout templates; quick preset save/call on the front panel.
• K-HDR enhancement for SDR sources; adjustable strength; per-source enable.
• EDID read/modify/customize; input hot-backup; one-button black screen/freeze; key-lock to prevent mis-ops.
• Monitoring: DVI-I monitor port up to 1920×1080@60; can preview inputs and outputs.
• Control & integration: USB (Type-B) for PC control, RS-232 (common baud rates up to 38400 bps), RJ45 (100M) control port.
• Engineering-friendly: 2U rackmount, universal 100–240 VAC, typical 55 W power; designed for continuous 24/7 use.
