The NovaStar CX40 Pro LED Display Controller is a high-performance 4K controller from the COEX series by Xi’an NovaStar Tech Co., Ltd. It supports rich video input connectors (HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2, 12G-SDI) and ultra-high bandwidth output via six 5 Gbps Ethernet ports and one 40 Gbps optical port, delivering up to 9 million pixels load capacity. It is compatible with NovaStar’s VMP (Vision Management Platform) software and features a 5.5-inch touchscreen LCD for intuitive on-device operation. Ideal for demanding LED display applications such as virtual production, broadcast, stage events, and high-end commercial installations, the CX40 Pro brings advanced image processing and system control into one solution.

• Full-grayscale calibration: work with NovaStar’s calibration system to generate unique coefficients for each grayscale
• HDR support: HDR10, HLG, compliant with SMPTE ST 2084 and ST 2086 standards
• Low latency: minimum processing latency reduced to 0-frame (less than 1 ms) in appropriate mode
• No rectangle restriction: irregular-shaped screens are allowed; blank pixels not counted toward total capacity
• Frame-rate adaptive: supports video inputs from 23.98 Hz up to 480 Hz with 0.01 Hz increments for optimal screen parameter calculation; brightness deviation remains within 5%

System control & monitoring
