Novastar DH3208 LED Receiver Card Description
The DH3208 is a versatile receiving card developed by Nova Technology Co., Ltd.A single card supports a maximum load of 512×512 pixels and features capabilities such as pixel-level brightness and chromaticity correction, quick adjustment of dark and bright lines, 3D functionality, independent RGB gamma adjustment, and 90° screen rotation. These features significantly enhance the display effect and improve the user experience.
The DH3208 uses 8 HUB320 interfaces for communication and supports up to 32 sets of RGB parallel data or 64 sets of serial data. The hardware design complies with EMC standards, improving the product’s electromagnetic compatibility, making it suitable for a variety of on-site installation environments.

Display Enhancement:
● Pixel-Level Brightness and Chroma Calibration: Works with Nova’s high-precision calibration system to adjust the brightness and chromaticity of each LED pixel. This effectively eliminates brightness and color discrepancies, ensuring uniform brightness and color consistency across the entire screen.
● Quick Adjustment of Dark and Bright Lines
Quickly adjust the dark or bright lines caused by module or cabinet splicing. The adjustments take effect immediately, improving the visual experience and eliminating visual inconsistency.
● 3D Functionality
Works with a sending card that supports 3D, allowing for 3D image output to enhance the visual effects.
● Independent RGB Gamma Adjustment
Supports independent gamma adjustment for red, green, and blue channels when used with a compatible sending card and NovaLCT (V5.2.0 or above). This feature effectively addresses issues like low grayscale uniformity and white balance drift, resulting in more realistic and accurate images.
● 90° Screen Rotation
Enables 90° rotation of the screen in multiples of 90° (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°), providing flexible display orientation options.
Maintenance Enhancements:
Mapping Function: Displays the receiving card number and Ethernet port information on the cabinet, allowing users to easily identify the receiving card’s location and routing.
● Pre-Stored Screen Settings
Allows customization of the startup screen, display when the Ethernet cable is disconnected, or when no video signal is present.
● Temperature and Voltage Monitoring
Monitors the temperature and voltage of the receiving card without the need for additional peripherals.
● LCD Display in Cabinet
The LCD module in the cabinet displays the receiving card’s temperature, voltage, single run time, and total run time for easy monitoring.
● Bit Error Rate (BER) Detection
Monitors the communication quality of the Ethernet port, tracks the number of erroneous packets, and assists with troubleshooting network communication issues. Requires NovaLCT V5.2.0 or later.
● Firmware Program Readback
Enables reading and saving of the receiving card’s firmware program locally for backup. Requires NovaLCT V5.2.0 or later.
● Configuration Parameters Readback
Allows reading and saving of the receiving card’s configuration parameters locally for backup or restoration.
Reliability Enhancements:
Loop Backup: Forms a loop between the receiving and sending cards using primary and backup connections. If a fault occurs at any location, the screen will still display normally, ensuring continuous operation.
● Dual Backup of Configuration Parameters
Configuration parameters are stored in both the application area and the factory area of the receiving card. Users typically operate with the application area parameters, but can restore factory settings if needed.
● Dual Program Backup
Two copies of the firmware program are stored in the receiving card at the factory, preventing issues such as a card lockup due to firmware update failures.
