Novastar MRV328 Receiving Card Description
The Novastar MRV328 is a general-purpose LED receiving card for HUB75E-based cabinets, supporting up to 1/32 scan and a maximum loading of 256×256@60Hz per card. It integrates 8× HUB75E connectors and 16 groups of parallel RGB data for stable communication, and adopts an EMC Class A hardware design for improved electromagnetic compatibility in on-site deployments. It also supports pixel-level calibration, quick dark/bright line adjustment, and 3D (with a compatible sending card).
Product Features:
• Display quality
– Pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration for high consistency across pixels (works with NovaStar’s high-precision calibration system)
– Quick adjustment of dark/bright lines from module or cabinet splicing; changes take effect immediately
– 3D output when paired with a sending card that supports 3D
• Maintainability & operations
– Fast upload of calibration coefficients to receiving cards
– Pre-stored startup or “no signal / cable disconnected” image configurable on the card
– On-card temperature and voltage monitoring without peripherals
– Cabinet LCD support to show temperature, voltage, single run time, and total run time
– Bit error detection to monitor Ethernet communication quality and record error packets (requires NovaLCT V5.2.0 or later)
– Firmware program readback to local PC (NovaLCT V5.2.0 or later)
– Configuration parameter readback to local PC
• Reliability & backup
– Loop backup via primary/backup line connections with sending cards; screen can continue to display normally if a line fault occurs
– Dual program backup (two firmware copies in the application area from factory) to reduce risk during updates
• Indicators (for quick status checks)
– Running (green):
· Flashing every 0.5 s: normal; Ethernet OK; video input present
· Flashing every 3 s: Ethernet abnormal
· Flashing 3 times per second: Ethernet OK; no video source
· Flashing every 0.2 s: main program failed to load; backup program in use
– Power (red): always on when power is normal
