Novastar MRV532 LED Screen Receiving Card Description

The Novastar MRV532 LED Screen Receiving Card is specifically designed for PWM driver ICs, offering advanced features to enhance display performance and user experience. Supporting resolutions up to 512×512@60Hz for 8bit video sources and 512×384@60Hz for 10bit or 12bit video sources, this receiving card ensures vibrant, accurate displays. Its robust functionality includes Seam Correction, Pixel-Level Calibration, Low Latency, and 90° Image Rotation, making it ideal for applications requiring high-quality and reliable LED displays.

Product Features:
● Improvements to Display Effect

– Pixel-Level Brightness and Chroma Calibration
Work with NovaStar’s high-precision calibration system to calibrate the brightness and chroma of each pixel, effectively eliminating differences and ensuring high consistency for both brightness and chroma.
– Seam Correction with Mobile App
Use the mobile app to automatically or manually correct the varying brightness of seams caused by splicing modules or cabinets, improving the visual experience. (Works with the TU series)
– Quick Adjustment of Dark or Bright Lines
The varying brightness of seams caused by splicing modules or cabinets can be corrected easily, with adjustments taking effect immediately to enhance the visual experience.
– Low Latency
The latency of the video source on the receiving card end can be reduced to 1 frame (only when using modules with driver ICs that have built-in RAM).
– 3D
Work with controllers that support 3D functionality to enable 3D output.
– 90° Image Rotation
The display image can be rotated in multiples of 90° (0°/90°/180°/270°).

● Improvements to Maintainability:
– Automatic Module Calibration
After replacing an old module with a new one that has flash memory, the calibration coefficients stored in the flash memory can be automatically uploaded to the receiving card upon power-on, ensuring uniform display brightness and chroma.
– Module Auto Light-Up (Dedicated Firmware Required)
When replacing an old module with a new one that has flash memory, the configuration file stored in the memory can be automatically uploaded to the receiving card upon power-on, ensuring the module lights up without any issues.
– Module Flash Management
For modules with flash memory, information stored in the memory, such as calibration coefficients and module IDs, can be stored and retrieved.
– One-Click Application of Calibration Coefficients in Module Flash
For modules with flash memory, users can hold down the self-test button on the cabinet to upload the calibration coefficients stored in the module’s memory to the receiving card when the Ethernet cable is disconnected.
– Mapping 1.1
Cabinets can display the controller number, receiving card number, and Ethernet port information, enabling users to easily identify the locations and connection topology of receiving cards.
– Settings of a Stored Image in the Receiving Card
The image displayed during startup, or when the Ethernet cable is disconnected or no video signal is available, can be customized.
– Temperature and Voltage Monitoring
Real-time monitoring of the temperature and voltage of the receiving card is supported without requiring additional external devices.
– Bit Error Detection
The Ethernet port communication quality of the receiving card can be monitored, and the number of erroneous packets recorded to help troubleshoot network communication issues.
– Firmware Program Readback
The firmware program of the receiving card can be read back and saved to the local computer.
– Configuration Parameter Readback
Configuration parameters of the receiving card can be read back and saved to the local computer.

● Improvements to Reliability:
– Dual NCP Backup
The NCP file is stored in both the application and factory areas of the receiving card. Users typically use the file in the application area but can retrieve the file from the factory area during a factory reset.
– Loop Backup
The receiving card and controller form a loop via primary and backup line connections. If a fault occurs in the lines, the screen can still display the image normally.
– Dual Backup of Configuration Parameters
Configuration parameters are stored in both the application and factory areas of the receiving card. If needed, users can restore the configuration parameters in the factory area to the application area.
– Dual Program Backup
Two copies of the firmware program are stored in the receiving card at the factory to prevent issues like the receiving card getting stuck during program updates.
