NovaStar SU20 LED Display Controller Description
The NovaStar SU20 LED Display Controller is a cost‑effective next‑generation controller from the COEX series designed to offer high‑quality LED display management with advanced calibration and connectivity features. With HDMI input, multiple Ethernet and optical outputs, and full support for multi‑protocol control (TCP/UDP, Art‑Net) via the VMP (Vision Management Platform), the SU20 provides a flexible and reliable solution for professional LED wall installations, digital signage, and event displays.
Product Features:
• 1× HDMI 1.3 input (with loop‑through) supporting 8‑bit and 10‑bit video input formats.
• 6× Gigabit Ethernet output ports plus 1×10G SFP+ optical output, supporting up to ~2.3 million pixels load in standard mode.
• Full grayscale calibration where each grayscale level has unique calibration coefficients to ensure brightness and chroma uniformity across high, medium and low grayscale.
• Pixel‑level brightness and chroma calibration by working with NovaStar’s high‑precision calibration system, eliminating module brightness/chroma inconsistencies.
• Latency support: less than 1 frame (0 frames in ideal conditions) when a proper driver card is used; optional video delay of zero to two frames for synchronization.
• Adaptive frame rate support, including decimal frame rates for input signals to meet various video source environments.
• Supports cascading control via Ethernet in a star topology without requiring external network switches; integrates with VMP software for smart device management.
• Compact form‑factor (half‑1U width) suitable for 19‑inch rack installations, making it ideal for professional AV racks and fixed installations.
