Novastar CVT310 Fiber Converter Description
If you have a large distance between your NovaStar controller and your LED display, the CVT310 fiber optic converter is the right solution. The NovaStar CVT 310 can be used either as a transmitter or receiver unit. Thanks to the LC interface, the device can be connected very easily to a fiber optic source.
To transmit the signal from a controller to an LED-Displayay two units are always needed (Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX)). You do not need any additional drivers for using the NovaStar CVT 310.

POWER	Power Indicator
FX/ACT	When optical fiber communications between two CVT310 are normal, the indicators at two sides are on; when there are communications problems between optical fibers, only one indicator is on or two indicators are off.
TP/ACT	When network cable communications from sending card to CVT310 or from CVT310 to receiving card are normal, this indicator is on continuously, or else it is off.
DATA	Only when both FX/ACT and TP/ACT indicators are on continuously, DATA indicator close to CVT310 at the end of the receiving card rapidly flashes, or else it doesn’t flash.
